4th of July Trip to Moab!!

So I realize the 4th of July was a while ago. But, here I am blogging about it!! For the 4th of July weekend we went to Moab. We got there Thursday night and played all day Friday. We started the day early with a water hike. Kiley had been riding in the backpack and had her head bonked against a tree branch. She was not very happy and had a nice red scratch across her head the rest of the day.

 We later went up the mountain where Chad did some fishing and we had a cook-out. It was lots of fun!!

On Saturday, July 2, Kiley turned 1!!! It was a long day for her and probably not the most exciting. We drove from Moab to Manti and back again. Chad's cousin Dave was sealed to his wife Shantel and their baby Beckahm. We got to go to the sealing and it was a great experience. Kiley hung out with Chad's wonderful cousin Stephanie (who BTW is a Oakcrest counselor this year!!).

On Monday, July 4th, we went to Blanding to spend the day with Chad's Grandparents!! We went to the parade and later to the carnival. It was a shorter trip than we would have liked but we had to get back to Cedar. It sure was fun to see Grandma and Grandpa Palmer and Kiley loves to see her great grandparents!!
