Cookies and Ice Cream

We spent this past weekend up north with my family. Lindsey and Riley were in town from California so Kiley and Asher got to play all weekend together. On Friday, my mom made sugar cookies. Lindsey and I got the privilege to decorate them all (and there were a lot.) Kiley got tired of being ignored so we put her in the Bumbo on the counter. She was having a great time being so close to all the action. Well, while we were not paying any attention to her, she reached over and grabbed one of the spoons for the frosting. I thought my mom had given it to her. But, no! She grabbed it and had a hay day with it. The spoon ran out of frosting and so of course she grabbed another one. Let's just say she takes after her parents. She LOVES sugar!!

Asher loving the frosting
Asher loves balls. All he said to me the whole weekend was "Bah." I learned this means: ball, Bo(their dog's name,) bottle. Lindsey knows exactly what he is saying but it's only fair considering she is his mom.

Friday night we got to go to the most wonderful restaurant in SLC. Five Alls is great!! Whenever the whole family is around my dad tries to take us up there. (He works there, so he gets a great deal.)  The dinner was absolutely delicious!! The meal starts with a tasty banana, pineapple drink thing. Kiley thought she needed some, so she drank a whole one by herself. After that, there are bread sticks and clam dip. Kiley ate 5 or 6 bread sticks. A little later they bring out bread. Kiley ate a whole roll. Then it was time for the delicious steaks. Kristi is the only one who opted out of that one. She got chicken instead.

Can you tell Chad is happy after eating his steak?
After dinner, we got ice cream!! Now, ice cream just happens to be Chad's favorite food. And Kiley really likes it, too. Since I don't believe ice cream is a major food group, I shared mine with Kiley. The following are  pictures of her reaction.

It may look like she doesn't like the ice cream, but she kept coming back for more. The problem was the ice cream was really, really cold.
The food was awesome and the company couldn't have been better!!
THANKS DAD!!
